Delray Beach Parks and Recreation Volunteer Opportunities

Welcome to Delray Beach Parks and Recreation and thank you for your interest in volunteering with us. Our department produces several events a year, and is always looking for enthusiastic, motivated volunteers of all ages and experiences.

The volunteer program is open to everyone ages 14 through adult. Service hours will be awarded for students. Beach cleanup are open to all ages, with adult supervision.


1. Fill out the Volunteer Application below.
People ages 14 to 17 will require adult signature on the waiver.

2. Check your email.
Check your email for a confirmation. For those 18 years and older, you can fill out the background check using the link provided in this email.

3. Submit your background check.
For those 18 years and older, you can fill out the background check using the link .  There's no cost to you, and the process should take about 2 weeks (17 and under can skip this step). Beach cleanups do not require a background check.

4. Sign up for an event.
After your background check is approved, we will let you know, you can sign up to volunteer for an event. Our opportunities, listed below, are always being updated. If you are 14 - 17 years old, you may sign up for an event now.
